Dr. Sarah Waddell

Background & Education

Raised in Stonewall, Louisiana, Dr. Sarah Waddell earned her Bachelor’s degree from LSU before graduating from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She began her veterinary career in emergency medicine and critical care in Shreveport and Lafayette and served as a locum veterinarian for multiple general practice hospitals in the region.

Professional Experience

From 2005 to 2014, Dr. Sarah and Dr. Clint owned and operated the Ban-field Veterinary Hospitals in Shreveport and Bossier City as charter franchise owners. After selling the franchises in January 2014, they founded Provenance Veterinary Hospital, which opened its doors in October 2014. With over 26 years of experience, Dr. Sarah is recognized as one of the leading veterinarians in the South Shreveport community.
