for your pet.
Preventative care is at the heart of our commitment to long-term pet health. By combining advanced diagnostic technology with skilled veterinary expertise, we are able to detect potential health concerns early, often before symptoms appear. Early detection leads to more effective treatment, improved outcomes, and a higher quality of life for your pet.
Our veterinary team at Provenance Veterinary Hospital offers an extensive range of preventative and diagnostic services designed to keep pets healthy, comfortable, and well-monitored at every stage of life.
Ultrasound imaging provides a pain-free, non-invasive way to examine your pet’s internal organs and soft tissues. Using high-frequency sound waves, our veterinarians can evaluate the heart, liver, kidneys, bladder, and other internal structures to diagnose conditions such as tumors, cysts, pregnancy, inflammation, and more.
Digital radiology allows us to capture high-quality, real-time images of your pet’s bones, joints, chest, and abdomen. These detailed X-rays help our team diagnose fractures, injuries, arthritis, respiratory conditions, intestinal blockages, and other illnesses quickly and accurately, often during your visit.
Dental X-rays provide a clear view of the teeth and jaw below the gumline. Since many dental issues are hidden during a routine oral exam, digital dental radiology allows us to detect tooth decay, fractures, infections, root problems, and other issues early, supporting a healthier, pain-free smile for your pet.
Video otoscopy uses a high-definition camera and light to examine the ear canal and eardrum with exceptional clarity. This technology helps identify ear infections, polyps, tumors, foreign objects, and chronic ear problems. It allows for more precise diagnosis and targeted treatment, especially for pets with recurring ear issues.
Endoscopy enables our veterinary team to examine your pet’s gastrointestinal system with a tiny camera inserted through the mouth (upper GI) or the rectum (lower GI). This minimally invasive procedure allows us to identify causes of vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, abdominal pain, or suspected blockages, and in some cases, retrieve foreign objects without surgery.
Our in-house regenerative stem cell therapy uses your pet’s own fat tissue to harvest and concentrate stem cells, which are then injected into damaged or painful areas. This same-day treatment is often used to promote healing in joints, ligaments, and soft tissues, and has shown promising results for pets with arthritis, injuries, or degenerative conditions.
PRP therapy utilizes a concentrated sample of your pet’s own platelets to accelerate tissue repair and reduce inflammation. Commonly recommended for osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, and chronic pain, PRP is a regenerative, minimally invasive therapy that supports faster, more natural healing.
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that delivers high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in soft tissue and bone. This therapy can reduce pain, increase blood flow, decrease inflammation, and enhance cell regeneration, making it particularly helpful for arthritis, joint disease, and orthopedic injuries.
Advanced medical care focuses on early detection and disease prevention through routine exams, diagnostics, and advanced screening technologies.
Endoscopy can help identify causes of chronic vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, abdominal pain, and gastrointestinal blockages, often without the need for surgery.
Advanced diagnostics allow veterinarians to identify health issues early, often before symptoms appear, leading to more effective treatment and better outcomes.
Stem cell therapy uses your pet’s own cells to promote healing and reduce inflammation, commonly benefiting pets with arthritis, joint disease, or soft tissue injuries.

Posted on Google Dana R My dog had to have acl surgery and I was referred to this clinic. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Sarah Waddell she was so concerned about my dog. Surgery went very good.Posted on Google Melissa W As a ferret owner, it can be difficult to find veterinary care for my pet, but this office exceeded all expectations. The veterinary technicians and doctor were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, compassionate, and gentle. They handled my ferret with great care after her injury, and the veterinarian clearly showed me exactly where her wounds were following an efficient exam. They prescribed antibiotics and pain medication that began helping her almost immediately. Even though it was an hour til closing time, they were kind enough to let us make a much-needed appointment, which I truly appreciate. I am SO grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and the excellent care they provided for my baby. If you’re a ferret owner like me, this place will take great care and attention of your pets.Posted on Google Sydney F I took my bunny there because he was suffering from gi stasis, and all of the staff was super kind and helpful. They knew exactly how to help him and were able to answer all of my questions.Posted on Google Ana D Very experienced doctor and staff. The luxury boarding suites are great if you have multiple dogs!Posted on Google Becky S The staff is so friendly and Dr. Sarah is the best. She takes time to listen to the issues and throughly explains what she does and the follow up care if needed. I rescued a ferral kitten and named him Archie. The whole staff treats every patient as if he or she were their own. Archie enjoys going to see the staff at Provenance. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs.Posted on Google Shayla C I can’t say enough good things about the care my dog receives here. From the moment you walk in, the receptionists are welcoming and kind, setting the tone for the entire visit. The vet techs are compassionate, gentle, and truly treat your dogs as if they were their own. The doctors go above and beyond—thorough, patient, and excellent at explaining everything in a way that gives you confidence and peace of mind. It’s rare to find a clinic where every single person you encounter stands out, but Provenance truly does. My dogs are always in the best hands here, and I’m so grateful to have a veterinary team that combines professionalism with genuine care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality veterinary care!Posted on Google Laurynn B I would just love to say that for one I am absolutely in love with the fact that the doctor and her staff are so compassionate about the animals in their care whether it is a cat or a bird or even a reptile! It is so hard to find Veterinarian’s willing to work with our scaly companions and Dr. Waddell is one of the best I’ve been too! My “little” guy had an abscess behind his eye that was so worrisome, but after a good long visit at the vet and some good medication. He had a perfect shed and his eye was as good as new! I know many people don’t think these creatures deserve the same care as cats and dogs because they don’t have the same personality attributes, but they truly are great companions and deserve the same care! Thank you so much Provenance Staff for taking care of my sweet boy!
